Research Associate, Therapeutics

The Research Associate is essential to our research team and a role that can offer tremendous growth and impact for the right candidate. We are looking for someone that has a deep curiosity about the business models in the therapeutics space, and an understanding of the technology that underpins the advancement of the field and how that will impact the end markets and future of the space.


Copywriter

The Copywriter will act as an editor, producer, and content creator for select external communications. The successful candidate will emulate the established Casdin voice and aesthetic for selective Casdin content leveraging their ability to develop engaging communications that will educate and resonate with our audience. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, showcasing the finesse of creative language within business communication and the ability to initiate, drive and deliver high-quality content. The ideal candidate is creative, strategic, and thrives in a fast-paced, iterative, and flexible environment.


Private Equity Analyst

The Private Equity Analyst is a new role to our research team, a core role with tremendous opportunity and impact for the right candidate. Reporting to the Director of Life Science Research, this role will be a leader in the firm's private equity deal-making, due diligence, and investment management areas. The focus of the role is to operate from a deep and fundamental understanding of the life sciences ecosystem and to creatively discover opportunities, conduct diligence, and partner with our team to bring these opportunities to fruition.


Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator will help support and drive the administrative process that supports Casdin’s research team. This role reports to the Director of Therapeutics Research and works closely with the Director of Administration on firmwide administrative processes and initiatives.


Investor Relations Associate

We are in an exciting stage of growth and can offer the ideal candidate an opportunity to execute and scale a highly successful investor relations function to support our growing fund. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing a best-in-class experience for our investors and will be instrumental in expanding the Casdin network over the long term.


Senior Fund Accountant

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer & Fund Controller, the Senior Fund Accountant will assist in driving the financial activities across our public investment portfolio. The main responsibilities will include portfolio accounting-related tasks and working closely with the fund’s administrator on a daily and monthly basis. The ideal candidate would thrive in a growth-stage environment with a self-starter attitude and strong attention to detail. Professional experience working with Hedge Funds is preferred.


Talent Consultant, Executive Search

The Talent Consultant will drive executive search and talent mapping for executive and board-level openings across Casdin’s portfolio companies. There will also be a focus on laying the groundwork to build a systematic approach to how Casdin manages the “Talent” support and advisory services for portfolio companies. This role reports to the COO for all initiatives relating to the portfolio companies and partners closely with the Directors of Research and the internal HR and Talent leads to build out a scalable talent management platform offering.
